It's going to need disc brakes to stop it assuming it ever gets going. Still weekly shop shouldn't be a problem, or getting stuff home from Ikea for that matter.It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

We just tried out a 2.5 metre long Dutch cargo bike (bakfiets) at work yesterday, looked really scary but
rode really well. Could imagine going to tesco for the weekly shopping in it. Apparently very popular for the school run in Holland.0 -
