Moorland frames, any information and is this one dead?

I've been given an "old" lugged frame marked as a Moorland Mystique. Does any one have any information as to what it is and who made it? Google doesn't seem to be helping.
And also is it dead? As you can hopefully see there is a small split in the top of the seat stay. Can this be repaired? As I quite fancy seeing if I can swap the bits over from my fixed gear bike (shown in sig).
Or is it destined to stay hanging on my bedroom wall as a piece of art with a lovely patina?!..

No doubt it COULD be repaired, but why bother? From the looks of it e.g. chain and seat stay bridges it was cheap and nasty when new - age doesn't make it any better.d.j.

Its the allure of something free!
And the fact that the frame on my fixed gear bike is cheap nasty and modern, something cheap nasty older and lugged seems an improvement!..*Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (22lb 14oz)
