Hi,
I've been lurking for a while and decided to join in - great forum. I know this have been covered in other threads, but couldn't quite find the info that I want for this question.
I have an Etrex Vista HCx that I intend to start using for cycling purposes and understand that I need to get the City Navigator NT maps. Some users seem to recommend buying the Europe maps on DVD (around 85 quid) so that routes can be planned on Map Source. If I buy the UK maps on an SD card (not available on DVD, around 35 quid), would I be able to plan routes on OS maps (using Memory maps or similar) or mapmyride.com etc and transfer them to the GPS and still get the turn-by-turn directions at the top of the screen, or do I need the Map Source maps to do this?
