Okay so this might make me sound like an old fuddy, and I'm new to commuting, but I'd always thought the concept of plugging yourself into music when taking to the roads, was a bit not recommended?

i'm not a fan of it my self but then i don't like the radio on too high in the car as i like to hear the engine etc.

in a busy city street your hearing normally is off little use.

Anything by Brian Wilson for me on a sunny day.

I also like to set off to "Mr Blue Sky" by ELO.

Quickly followed by "Who Loves The Sun" VU; and "Here Comes The Sun" (almost any version including Harrison's original)

and then "Paint It Black" by the Stones - seems to set it all off nicely.

I've just found California Dreamin - The Mamma's & Papa's - I don't know why but it always takes me to a happy sunny place :lol: And I've just found VU (the Andy Wharhol album) - funnily enough Sunday Morning does exactly the same :lol:
