Hi there.
Hoping to cycle London to Paris to see the end of the tour. Just comparing possible routes now. Does anyone know about the condition of the NCN1 down to Dover? - is it sealed for a road bike? Also has anyone done this to Paris via Amien? Any advice on the route is welcome!
Also, let me know if anyone here feels like joining me. Planning on leaving London Thur 23rd, arriving Paris Sat 25th & staying 2 nights with the Eurostar back on the Monday (amazingly still has cheaper £40 for 6pm train).

Can't really comment on the route, but you might want to plan your overnight stays now... Action Medical Research is running 2 routes via Dover (leaving 22nd July) and AFAIK both of these routes are fully booked - meaning about 300 riders... As you are obviously planning to do it in 3 days, you might actually run into these groups and find accommodation limited to you.

Would imagine they are using NCN1 though.
Already signed up for the following 2010 rides:

    Etape Caledonia (May 16th)
    AMR's Trossachs Ton (June 20th)
    AMR's Cross-Border Sportive (Sept 19th)
