cannot get front gears

So i can grease the bottom bracket

I can get the left hand side off but the right hand side refuses to budge, tried wd 40 , oil etc and brute force but it will not move , any suggestions?

    Is the cable attached properly, to the front derailleur, gear shifters, correct tension?

    sorry i meant the crank arm ;) the right hand side with the chain rings? on will not budge :wink:

    how old is the bike? WD40 should get it moving eventually, is it rusted? think this may be one for LBS, may need to take the cranks off and to grease the bearings inside the frame.

    and the cranks are?

    do you have the tools you need? crank puller etc..

    read parktools for a how too.

    spoke to some one at work and yes i apparantly need tools ie a crank puller and not brute force raaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh !!!! dont make me angry bike you wouldnt like me when im angry .............. heheh
