Yipee :D
After a false start, collected my new baby today: a Specialized FSR XC Expert.
Had a quick spin out this afternoon, well impressed. Going Cannock tomorrow.
First time I've had a full susser, now I can remain seated on the bumps

Found a field of poppies thought they went quite well with the frame!! 8)

nice bike there. i do like spech...

more importantly - i love you're sig! haha! just dwelling on the image of churchill jumping roots in his bowler hat! good work!
  • Dicky you have a great choice of bike, as I also have the same. :D I was not to struck on red at first but it has grown on me. I was going to get the comp, its stealthy black paintjob done it much justice. Then decided the expert was the one on account of the better folks etc.

Just changed the seat to SDG bel air ti, finished in ltd edition cork effect and changed the white grips for some bontrager black ones. Gives my machine a more serious look if i do say so myself.

Will post some pics in due course.

    Regards.

    Good on yer mate :D
I would of preferred mine in black also. Have you seen the colours of the same bike on the Official Spesh website?

Very happy with the way its performing so far, was concerned about the rear shock but seems ok, love the front forks though after the crappy ones on my Scott Scale 50.

Only complaint is the low crank height, have got to adjust my riding style I guess.

Not sure about what to change at the moment, thought about some faster rolling tyres as I do quite abit of roadwork Trailquesting.

Have been Cannock, Coed Y Brenin and Pennine X challenge so far. The Beast at Coed Y Brenin scared me to death but the bike was loving it, it was made for that type of enviroment
