Hello all
I am considering getting a road / hybrid bike mainly for commuting & the occasional 10-20 mile ride. I have a very limited budget of approx £300. I am thnking about a 'Bronx city sport' but have seen no reviews anywhere - below is the spec -any views.
The owner of my LBS says they are good quality and made by the makers of GT, but he wants to sell them, so he is hardly likey to say they are crap. Other possibilities include a carrera gryphon and I have the option to get a Kona Dew deluxe 2008 from a fiend. I am after something faster than my current steel claud butler. Any advice much appreciated.
Mark.

I don't know about the bronx but I had a Dew Delux 09 which was an excellent bike, though not as fast as a road bike it was capable of handling some rough terrain aswell.
As I found I was spending most of my time on the road on it ( I have a mountain bike for off-road ) I sold it and bought a Giant Defy which I've found to be brilliant bike, which always seems to get a good write up.' From the sharks in the penthouse,
to the rats in the basement,
its not that far '0
