Hi all,

I'm planning a trip to the Alps next month and it'll be the first time I''ve taken my bike abroad. I have the bike box sorted but need to get some tools. Can anyone recommend anything to take pedals off?

I have a Scott CR1 Pro with a set of these...

Anyone use this?

15mm spanner. I don't know about those pedals but i can take my keo's or speedplays off with the hex bit from the back side of the pedal.

I think you can also use an 8mm allen key, which is a touch easier as taking a full blown pedal spanner will be a bit of a hassle.

Well the spanner is going in the bike box (well packaged) so it won't really be a hassle.

Check on the fitting for the Ultegra pedals. I have Dura-ace and I need to use a hex, there is no bolt for a normal 15mm spanner; so the dual purpose Ice-toolz would be the one to go for

Thanks, I've managed to borrow a dual purpose one off a friend, but will also order one.
