    According to Cycling Weekly it's not quite in the same league as a spring classic or Grand Tour stage win. No shit, Sherlock. :roll:

    A small thing but why do English speaking race organisers persist in calling their races a "classic", when their races are usually short-lived things that have not been on the calendar for five years, yet alone 50 or 100 years.

    I'm sure Armstrong and his entourage - is Ferrari coaching him? - know the wattage needed for the Tour, so the actual race he's done is not so important, it's the efforts conducted within the race and the downloaded data that will give them (and not us) more information.
