Ordered a Saxo Bank jersey n' shorts plus a few other odds and ends from Wiggle on Thursday night, got it in the post on Saturday! Even had some Haribo included to eat whilst trying my new kit on. Now strutting round the house pretending I'm Andy Schleck...

OK, maybe not the biggest deal, but again very happy with service from Wiggle...

Yep, they're ace - right up to the point where your card gets cloned.

Real shame as I'm a long standing customer of theirs and the service is great but I'd advise only using Paypal in the future.

I think everyone has good and bad experiences from different retailers! All I can say re Wiggle, is that I've always found their products and delivery times excellent!

Never had any probs with Wiggle. Although why are you dancing around like Andy Schlek? Enjoy your kit, and share the Haribo!!!

Wiggle are the best i've dealt with. Always use them when possible. Delivery and customer service are excellent. Best website aswell, with accurate stock levels. My girlfriend ate my haribo, both packs!!!

I think all the major online retailers have equal levels of customer service and many indeed can be contacted by telephone which can make resolution of any problem much easier and that's something Wiggle doesn't offer but then that's how they try to cut costs so we get a better deal. Not sure how well that is working these days as I find their prices uncompetitive much of the time.

I've only returned stuff to wiggle so not sure about others. No phone line doesn't seem to bad because they usually answer emails quickly. Your right about prices now, this time last year i found them cheapest on lots of things but now there seems to be better options elsewhere. I always shop around for the best deal I can.

Ordered 4 items (jersey, shorts, undershorts, socks) on Sunday evening 14th June and they arrived following Tuesday (and that was opting for free delivery which is quoted as 2-5 days). Not bad at all!

Any retailer, any payment method can have its problems. I'm not defending Wiggle here, but anyone who thinks it's a good idea to use Paypal over other methods really should do some research into the hazards of that particular tool!

IVe got a platinum account. I.e 10% off everything (or something like that) and evans is still cheaper on most items i search for. And if they arent they will match wiggle prices.

But are they quicker than lifting the phone and speaking to someone and do they always answer your technical questions with enough information without having to go back for further clarification. It's all relative however as an exclusively web based business they do very well in terms of their response however nothing can beat the immediacy of speaking to someone face or on the phone.

I have been using them since 2002 and have never once had a problem. Considering I order every month (loser I know) and have had the items delivered to various addresses over the years I think their service is excellent as in general are the prices. The only thing I get hacked off with is when they discontinue lines and manufacturers that you then have to get elsewhere.

Hmm i find wiggle are fast when the item is in stock.

However i am finding even more items as being listed as discontinued,

Also if you ever asked them if they can an item in a different size they just reply "if it's not on the site then NO".

I even emailed them yesterday to ask if i were to but an £500 circa wheelset and new cassette from them would they install it for me. They replied with a stark NO. Which is a shame as a well known online cycle retailer in N Ireland said they would have no problems in doing it for me.

I'm a big user of Wiggle and CRC....to be honest I've not seen a big difference between them on speed so now I just buy the cheaper.

Carbon fibre, it's all nonsense. Drink beer. Ride a steel bike. Don't be a ponce.

lol - mirrors my experiences. Will only use them if I have no convenient alternatives, and Paypal only from now on.
  • Having used Wiggle for quite sometime now I have to say they have always offered good customer service. I did return a pair of Look Keo Carbon HM pedals a few months back which were exchanged no problem due to them being faulty. The I wished I had a phone number to speak to someone rather than hold discussions via email which in the end just adds time to everything and drags things out a bit.

Always use Paypal and to date have had no problems.

One thing I don't think is worthwhile is the extra ££s for their priority dispatch, I ordered some Castelli socks this morning with their normal 2 - 5 turnaround which is FREE only to receive an email 2 hours later saying the parcel was ready for collection today as normal I should have my gear tomorrow. This has happened with the last 8 to 10 purchases from them... However sometimes after bank holidays they make take 2 days to dispatch goods dealing with Priority Orders first.

On the whole I do find their prices good but I do shop around...
