Hi guys,

I have a Rockhoper 08 with Tora Shocks.

I noticed a few weeks ago that when i push down on the front the shocks they make an air release noise.

Is this right or are they leaking,

Thanks and sorry if i'm being stupid.

Dan

    I think it's air.

I got it Dec last year so if it's wrong i'll send it back, it should be under warranty.

    It seems to be ok?

then they will be coil sprung.

air sounds can be very normal.

I think i may have figured it out.

When i adjust the rebound at the bottom of the shock from fast to slow the noise reduces.

  • Weird, mine reduces when I speed it up :)
  • I have the same issue on my Rock Shox Recon 351, this happened only after an accident in cannock, however when I speed the fork up it reduces in noise. The preformance does not seem to be effected, so should be O.K if you are still unsure take them along to your local LBS and have them serviced.
