Stage finish, a moderate climb up to Crans Montana.
Who'd have thunk it, Tony Martin, mountain goat, beats "Clean" Cunego and Fabian Cancellara, mountain goat.
Elite group finishes with 13 riders.........5 from Columbia.
6 out of 7 road stages.
Linus Gerdemann dropped as early as the little 3rd cat.

Thank goodness T Mobile are out of the sport and Columbia have come in to make a clean sweep.

An utterly shiite race this year.

This year's race stinks.. Not because Columbia have won every single stage except the TT (...well a bit) but because the parcours is piddly. If it is true that they designed the course with cancellara in mind, they are shooting themselves in the foot... More top riders will start going to the dauphine instead...

I have press credentials to photo the whole race but stopped going after last Monday...

Switzerland has so many killer mountain passes that usually feature in the race... what did we get this year ... just one HC climb over the Gotthard, and that was at the start of the stage... Organisers have really screwed this up

It will be interesting to see the relative positions of the riders who did the Dauphine versus the TdS-ers in the Tour de France, especially in the mountains.
