i cant decide whether to get the x2 or x3. the frame and suss are the same on both so would i be better off getting the x3 and upgrading the other stuff later? or is the x2 better value?

i'm also going to get a giant defy 3 at the same time. will this give me some decent bargaining power in an lbs? i already get 10% but hoping for more.

Well me personally i bought the x3, you're getting similar value across the range so i bought the cheapest.

Mind it helps that everything from my tomac will fit it anyway. ;)

Personally id buy the x3 then go sniffing on ebay for some bargain upgrades, i've never been mad on race face gear anyway.

You got a discount n the anthem, that's very rare they're selling that fast that most refuse to discount at all.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

i decided on the x2 because it has a better shock. didnt think the x3 would have the same as the x2 at that price. also the x3 has juicy 3 brakes which i'm not a huge fan of.

i got the lbs down to £1850 for the x2 and defy3. i asked them to throw in pedals too so i'm waiting for the manager to come in to give me an answer.

i think you mis-read me. i'm getting a giant anthem x2 AND a giant defy 3 for the total of £1850, and hopefully with pedals. you got a great deal there with all that kit.

Just put a deposit down on an X2, so picking it up this week. Better shock, great fork and I love the blue! There's still a few bits I'll look to upgrade eventually - grips, carbon bars, wheels and probably brakes, but it's a pretty good value package I reckon.

I reckon the X1 is probably best value though.
