Has anyone seen the new Myka Sport Disc? In fact, are Spesh going to do one or are they just going to go with the base Sport? My missus wanted a 2009 on her R2W scheme but they can't get them anymore. She has set a budget of £500 to include the obvious accessories.

I have looked Supers, but can only find the Sport and the Elite. I don't think it would be too much of a problem if she had the Sport really as she is only just getting into cycling again, but she really took to the 2009 Disc-versioned model on a test-ride at a local Specialized dealer. Unfortunately Halfords will only be getting 2010 Mykas from now on.Start Weight: 128 kilos (20.2 st) (April 17th 2009)

Leisure Lakes are listing the 2010 Comp at £449.98 and the Elite at £649.99.
The Comp has discs would it suit?'89 Hardrock Comp

I think i can see where you are coming from Supers. Is the disc version really worth £100 more than the V-braked model? I don't think so (it was the 2009 version that Dawn fell in love with anyway) I think I will try to convince her to buy the cheaper model (she has a voucher for £500) and invest in some better kit to go with it. £150 will buy good lights, a very good helmet and maybe some nice clothing that she wouldn't have otherwise considered.
Unless you can think of a nicer bike that Halfords could get in for her............Start Weight: 128 kilos (20.2 st) (April 17th 2009)

little late, but bought my missus the 2009 myka sport disc for her birthday this year, really solid bike, and compared to others like the trek, it was really good value for money, Think i paid about £320 for it. seems that 2010 bikes are going up in price
try contacting your nearest specialized concept store, the one i use is in a place called saltash, which is just outside plymouth, the guys there are really good,
