I want something that can just be rolled up and left in my backpack.
Do not want to spend anymore than 40 quid on a Fancy Cagoule
Does the Altura Nevis fit the bill ? Its not lined or anything is it ?

Any other ideas ?
Saw something I liked in the shop at Llandegla today. It was bright orange and 40 quid but I thought I could find it cheaper on the net but I can't remember if it is the same as the one above.

Hi,
I got one similar to this
http://www.millets.co.uk/clothing/men/j ... 40846.html
Got it years ago. It works fine in a downpour-emergency. They fold up into themselves. Not very big when folded up either.
Bet they have cheaper ones on ebay. Why has my sig been removed by the admins???0 -
I've got an Altura Nevis in the Blue (paid £50 for it  )
Its lined with a lightweight mesh throughout but nice and light, folds down quite small and certainly keeps me dry and warm when the weather goes downhill
(not only that, it matches the blue I've got else where on the bike )2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon

 totally missed the bit about the Altura Nevis in the OP
Ive also got an Altura Nightvision (Black one), which looks similar to the Nevis, and has the same features. Just has a few reflective bits on it (which show up really brightly at night).
As jmillen says, they are lined with mesh. Was about £45 iirc.
