Gazelle Orange Plus - Any good?

Hi -
I'm not very well informed on bikes.
I have a Brompton Folding Bike (M6L) but I don't use it very much as I moved out of the city where I lived (Cambridge) a few years ago, and now live in a little village.
I'm moving back to the city soon so I thought it might be a good idea to sell my Brompton and get something more efficient.
I'd want the bike for going around town on (which even my Brompton could handle), and maybe cycling to work (which is 8 miles along cycle paths or roads).
I asked someone at work who suggested something like a Giant CRS http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-GB/bik ... 2463/32848 .
Recently a Gazelle Orange Plus became available in my town for £400 second hand. According to Cycle Heaven http://www.cycle-heaven.co.uk/gazelle.html they're £700 new (this is 'as new' but is last years model).
Would the Gazelle Orange Plus suit my needs? Would I be better off with something like the CRS? Is this a good price?
Any comments and advice gratefully appreciated :-)
