tyre size

i am currently in the process of buying some slicks for my MTB. The nobblies I have are 26x2.0. The tyres I am looking at are 26 x 1.5. Will these fit on the rims? will I need to buy new tubes?

    might do might not.

    as it is a friday i have the ESP turned off so I can not work out what your rims are and if they are compatable with a 1.5 tyre of some make that I again can not determin.

    So a bit more info might be good.
