I Don't Need A New Bike

I've got a half decent road bike, SCR1, which I love
A naff mountain bike, but it hardly ever gets used, so it's good enough for my needs
a ridgeback hybrid for commuting in bad weather
an old boneshaker (falcon corsair) for the turbo or when there's salt on the roads
so I've got all bases covered, but Bike2Work is coming in at our place and it would be daft not to take advantage - so what should I get ?
Specialized Tricross is looking favourite, or maybe a decent hardtail
any suggestions ?

Where will you be able to purchase?
If it was me i'd sell all but the Giant, put the proceeds into the voucher and get a nice shiny new carbon bike for summer and keep the Giant for less inviting conditions 8)winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

good idea, so that would be about 1100 quid I'd have to spend !0

err, no, he suggested selling all but the SCR10

hmmm, what's missing...
how about something different?
get a singlespeed/fixed thingy, there's loads about for around the £500 mark, and get a new fancy set of wheels as well for the SCR with the rest.
or a nice cyclocross bike - the spesh tri-cross is well liked, kona jake is an alternative, kinesis crosslight another.
how about a time trial bike?
or, you could get a lovely crabon fibre frame/fork for that, and put the SCR bits on until you can upgrade the rest, but that depends on how accommodating whoever running the B2W scheme is :!:0
