Off road routes in or near Warrington?

Does anyone have any info on any off road or low traffic routes/paths/loops other than the TPT around the Warrington area?

Especialy which are ideal for evening rides.

Not much really, the Woolybacks go out from a pub, down the TPT and up to Runcorn and back... Some farm tracks round Burtonwood, but nothing of any excitement...
Delamere, but I find that place a bit dull TBH...

how near to warrington,.....

trans penine trail runs through warrington i sometimes do a few loops round culcheth were my misus lives....

best though not to far from warrington is rivington winter hill loads of good rides up there, from short sweet to long epics,...

best bet is to get a os map of the area and see what you can link up...

True, but there is even better riding just the other side of Mancs, but sounds like VV wants to ride out of the door...?
