Maybe it, erm, looks better in the flesh?

At least it will stand out against all the blue kits...

I hope they have matching shorts just like it.

And I hope that an Ag2R rider gets the KOM jersey at TdF.

And then I hope he doesn't have the KOM polka dot matching shorts.

And then I hope it's cold and wet when he's riding so he's wearing a terrible looking pair of leg warmers, but he's still got the polka-dot glasses, helmet and gloves.

    My eyes

Hmm actually that could grow on me, in a kind of '80s retro way. Definitely does need matching shorts.

It's not ALL that different to the Garmin-Chipotle stuff from last year. Except uglier.

There are some pictures on their website with guys wearing it. Yeah I think I like it - in a I'd never wear it myself but at least it stands out sort of way.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

If I wore that, noone could tell how fat I was. Same sort of idea as those Trek prototypes.

It's something different from the quite boring styles going on at the moment, which have kinda stagnated since early 2000.

Maybe a grower?? It's not rocking my world at the moment though...
Mind you I have to agree with a couple of comments above that it is nice to see some different.

I'm inclined to agree! It is a grower, I'm starting to quite like it...

That aqua-and-brown thing actually is the corporate logo of AG2R-La Mondiale!
For some reason, the jersey makes me think of napolitan ice cream...

It's the corporate colours so the riders have to wear them.

But if you don't like it, don't worry. They've only won two races this year, the team is near-invisible

best kit ever  brown is utterly brilliant
  • I see the 80s revival is taking hold here too. How come they're allowed to change their kit mid-season? Didn't Quick Step (much nicer retro kit) get a slap on the wrist for trying to do the same during the classics?

I tell you brown shorts aren't a bad idea. I can think of at least one occasion when they would've come in handy:

In 2003 when Jan had a case of the runs. (A sorry in advance for being so explicit).

It looks like they tried to do Garmin's argyle but only had enough money for two colors and a very low resolution.

It reminds me of this cricketing legend..... shirt.jpg

If the riders are quick they can pick up a couple of the old jerseys to wear at a bargain price http://www.cyclisme.ag2rlamondiale.fr/ top right hand corner.

Ture you have got the camouflage element there.

What would be nice is a pair of brown Sidi open toe sandals and some Lance/Cav black socks and a beige coloured tank top instead of a gilet on colder days.

And if possible a flat cap instead of a helmet on the mountian stages?

I think they be the talk of the tour. :)

    :lol::lol: Now that's what I talking about!!!

Forget all the energy bars and gels. Just a hovis loaf in the back pocket and a flagon of cider lashed to the handle bars. :D
