I know this has probably been asked a TON of times already, but here is my situation, I currently work as a bikeability cycling instructor/mentor in the north east. I have alwyas been interested in cycling and been tinkering around with my own and friends bikes for ages. I am by no means an expert, but I am pretty handy at fettling. I have been thinking of moving from the cycle training and mentoring work I do now over to bike maintenance/repair in retail or private companies etc. My question is what are the best nationally recognised qualifications in cycle maintenance out there? I have had a few google searches and most of what I come up with are four day bike maintenance courses (which are very basic). So simply put what are the most recognised (and easily accessible) courses out there.

Sorry for the long-ass post

Rob
