No clamp adjustability on KS I900 adjustable seatposts - why

You can't adjust the saddle angle one bit on these and It's a pity because the post is pretty superb in terms of adjustability.
Having had a Thomson you got infinite adjustment and I like to run a steepish saddle angle at the best of times. On the KS I900 the saddle when clamped is too downward. Maybe it would work better on a slacker angled bike.
Anyone else had this issue?

Err what happens if you undo the bolt and rotate the saddle?
looks like lots of adjustment.
Or is there a design problem that is stopping it move?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If you undo the bolt there is still no room for the saddle to rotate, the bolt has a vertical entry point that can't be compromised. It sucks!0

What?
i find this hard to understand. as it looks like anyother single bolt fitting.
cant get an exploded diagram to see.
looks like the 950 would be better."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Er.... you can adjust the angle!0

I had two of these seatposts. Both have been sent back because they wouldn't drop under my weight and I have since asked for a refund.
However I was definitely able to adjust the saddle angle on them!

"Stu, did you lift your body weight off the saddle first?"
Yes, the only way I could get the first one to go down was to lift myslef a couple of inches off the saddle and then bounce down as hard as I could. It was quite hard to get the saddle to drop say only an inch or two using this method
The second one was a struggle to get down at all
There's not going to be a third!

Fair enough, the pawl or what ever it is just needs easing of wieght to get it free. But defo a problem with yours... Shame really, they really are good!0 -
Saddle angle adjusts fine on my i900r to, not sure why you'd want the nose pointing up either...0

Got me new saddle clamp from pure racing today - the one I was using was faulty. Saddle adjustment has been fixed but I do agree with some of the comments regarding the lack of smoothness when trying to drop the seatpost height.
I've got to literally sit down and force the thing down, on the way back up it works like a dream. I think it needs to be used often and lubricated a lot. Still works well though0 -
Mmm so you post the complaint/problem AFTER having been in contact with the supplier.
Nice. sure they will be happy to read your rant AFTER they must have posted the new part to you."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
