Torque wrench?

I`ve decided to buy a torque wrench for the various bolts on my bike. I searched and found that the Sealey STW1012 is recommended, however this wrench is out of stock at the Sealey warehouse and isn`t avaliable until mid July.
I need the wrench ASAP so am stuck between the BBB wrench and the Norbar wrench.
Any other recommendations? Or could i save myself some money and just but one of these?
Don`t want to be spending any more than £70

This one is in stock and I think it is the same as the Sealey, looks identical to mine apart from the handle being black on the Sealey.0

Unless you have expensive carbon bits I don't think there's that much point personally.0

I`ve got CNT bars which slipped round on me last time I went biking due to undertightening. Luckily it was on a small berm and not anything too rough.
Thanks for the link alfa0 -

The screwfix ones have too higher range. The Teng they sell is the only one anywhere near which ranges fron 5-20nm0 -

I would agree, which is why I didn't get one till I had expensive carbon bits with specified torques on all the bolts.
I got the BBB one from CRC and it's fine. Even comes with a calibration certificate

Check out your local tool shops - I picked up a 5-25Nm wrench for £25, and you can send it off after 6 months for the producer to check the callibration is still correct. Most listed torque values are a range (eg. 8-10Nm) so you don't need to have one that is supremely precise IMHO. Can't remember the make off the top of my head although it might be 'Stanley' - perhaps search on the internet...
This one may be the same but I'd need to check!
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/29953/Han ... que-Wrench
It is listed as 5-25Nm range with an accuracy of +/- 4%, which represents a 1Nm inaccuracy at worst. Check what the torque(s) you require and make a judgement on how pricy your bike components are...
Only thing was I had to buy the various bits (as in the part that fits into the screw, etc.) seperately, but this was only an additional £7.
I've been very happy with mine...0 -
I've recently got one of these http://nextday.diy.com/app/jsp/product/ ... ctId=29953
Same as from screwfix, it works fine and seems well enough made, the plastic box it comes in is awful but I couldn't justify spending almost half as much again on a teng.-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -
Cheers, bought the Cyclo one from CRC. Seems to be a Sealey clone and was a decent price with the 10% off.0

FFS just got an email from CRC saying that they`re out of stock of the wrench.
Back to the drawing board again :evil:0 -
I've got the cyclo one, your lbs should be able to order it from pro-tec for you.0

The Sealey STW1012 is now being sold for less than 30 quid in several places.0

I got the sealey one from amazon0

The Sealey is out of stock everywhere. I`ve ordered the same wrench from 4 different places, one of which was Amazon, and rung up nemerous. All are out of stock till middle the of July.
Ordered a Norbar one which i managed to get for £60, their torque wrenches have an excellent reputation.0 -
