Hi All,
New around here & to Mountain Biking in general. Recently bought a Boardman Team FS & loving every minute of it (except the uphills ). Thought I would share a few pics of the Boardman with you -
Frame: Lightweight 4 bar linkage full suspension frame with 120mm travel and butted tubing
Rear Shock: RockShox Monarch 3.1 Air shock with adjustable rebound & compression damping
Fork: RockShox Reba SL, 120mm travel, Motion Control damping, lockout & 20mm Maxle Lite
Headset: FSA Orbit integrated cartridge bearing
Spacers: Full carbon 4x5mm, 1x10mm
Stem: Ritchey Comp OS 31.8mm
Handlebars: Ritchey Comp Rizer OS 31.8mm
Seatpost: Ritchey 31.6mm
Saddle: cboardman, Cro-Mo rails
Brakes: Avid Elixir R hydraulic disc brakes, 160mm rotors
Shifters: SRAM X7 9 speed

Mine rides really well. I hated the saddle though - really uncomfortable and changed after one ride.
Seven months on, and apart from a leaky air shock (need to take it back under the warranty) all has been fine with it.www.louthnet.com/LAMB - Louth Area Mountain Bikers0 -
You might want to move your rear quick release slightly, it is right in the middle of the cutout.
There are 2 issues with this:
1. it will be very difficult to open when you need to.
2. suspension movement could very well loosen the QR spontaneously. At the very least it will rub the paint off.
I'd have it pointing directly backwards.--

It rides great, feels like a lot more moneys worth. I'm just at the stage of setting the shocks/fork up, making a tweak here & there after each ride but I think I have just about nailed it.
I live near Sherwood Pines so it will be seeing some Red Trail action this weekend!

I ordered a team FS about 2 months ago and still haven't seen it. Next week they tell me (as they have for the last month). But sill can't wait to get on it and get it on, lol.+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!
