Schwalbe Black Jack.1 Folding Tyres

Just fitted some of these 2.1 Schwalbe's and they're more like a 1.8 tyre, very narrow. Is it me or are Schwalbe's all like this?...... a bit on the narrow side. Wish I'd got a 2.35 now, which will be more like a 2.1

    That's interesting cos I just went from the Fire XC Pro 2.1's and got the Fire FR 2.4 and they seem HUGE!! Love em, maybe Panaracers come up big and your Scwalbes come up small??

    You would think they would all be measured the same though wouldn't you? :?

    Yes, you'd think all tyres measure the same.......... but they don't!

    Do you have thin rims? This can also affect how big your tyres come up!

    Fatter rim = fatter tyre!

    Schwalbe are not the only ones guilty of this crime but 2.1 Nobby Nics and Racing Ralphs are very skinny, low-volume tyres and the 2.25s are only a bit bigger. Singletrack have tested a bunch of tyres this month and at least half of them are undersize.

    my nobby nics are way fatter than my panaracers, bit confused at these postings
