Are Raleigh still an english bike company?

I am aware that Raleigh bikes are not made in England but are they still an English/English owned bike manufacturer?
and also are Saracen an english bike company?

    They're owned by the Raleigh USA firm nowadays. I think they still have a facility in Nottingham.

    I think both Raleigh and Saracen just assemble bikes in the GB. wether that still means they're an English bike company :!:

    If you buy an Italian f/f with Japanese components and American finishing kit with German tyres but it's assembled in your LBS ithe UK. Is it an English bike :?:

    very, but it does not mention the frames that have the tubes cut and tack welded in the east and shipped to the "West" for the finishing welds.....
