If they publicised the London one any more than last year's it'd just be two-wheeled gridlock.0

Well it seems this is the new brand for the Freewheel, which was quite busy last year!
Having said that if the previous 2 are anything to go by it should be excellent fun and I'll certainly be attending with the mini-BJUK's making their debut ride this year!0 -
Yeah new name for freewheel. I read about it on the Standard site today although it didn't mention Freewheel at all it said "skyride" was happening in September and I couldn't believe they'd shut the road twice for cycling in one month (let alone a year).
"London Freewheel is now known as Mayor of London Skyride"0 -
I assume that these Sky Ride things are quite short. :? Not that much info on the website.0

The London one has been around 8-9 miles for the last 2 years and I think I read earlier on the forums that Boris hoped to extend the route again this year.0 -
Signed up - looks like fun and you get to wear a yellow bib.0

definitely interested just got to get someone to do it with me although may end up doing it on my own0

If you don't register will you still be allowed to ride or will Murdock’s Muppets come out and beat the s*** out of ya.
Don't forget , this could be thought of as a corporate giant exploiting the growth of cycling for their own needs.
But surely not .............
