Bottom Bracket size for a 2008 GT Avalanche

Hi Guys...does anyone know the above size, I know it's 68mm but can't find the length anywhere. I need to order one before I take the old one off as it's my sons only means of transport, and i'd like to get one online rather than pay LBS prices.

    the axle length all depends on what the cranks are.

    My brothers 08 GT Avalanche 3.0 with suntour cranks has a axle length of 118mm. It has the axle length printed on the bottom bracket shell so you can find out if you take it out.
