as a baby's bottom - almost :)

Couldn't believe it this morning. Although I think only one half has been done, so I might still get the boneshaking effect on the homeward journey :)

Last night it was closed and they were cleaning the road. Had there been a spill? Now need the south side done.

:( Now it will just be another characterless stretch of tarmac, like any other. ;)

I assumed this would be a shaving thread and "Borough High Street" a coy euphemism for something unmentionable.

Did they re-surface after the oil spill? I recall hearing on the traffic news a couple of nights back that it was closed for this reason. Maybe we should sabotage another oil tanker to dump it's load on the other side? Heck if this works we could even get properly organised and do this on all the shite roads around town ;-)

Of course I still haven't quite figured out how a bunch of cyclists can make a tanker stop/crash to a point that it will spill it's load but I'm open to suggestions.........

Tanker porn? A few images of oiled up sumps? Or a bit of scat... some septic tanks might get one going?

Or maybe something a bit 'innocent' - Virgin Olive Oil might be its thing.
