Just wondered if anyone else was going. We've been attending for donkey's years and used to cycle 80 miles up on the Saturday morning and back on Sunday evening with camping gear but now we drive up with our campervan - tempus fugit
It doesn't seem to have quite the excitement it once did but the weather has been awful the last 2 years. Hoping for better at the weekend of 21/22 June this time.

Old cyclists never die; they just fit smaller chainrings ... and pedal faster

Maybe see you there as it is in my home town.
Are there any rides heading out from it on either day?"I hold it true, what'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost;
Than never to have loved at all."

There are usually rides organised from the rally site on Saturday morning. We're staying at camp site near Stillingfleet which is close to the York/Selby cycle path and means we can get to the Knavesmire without going into York itself.
We'll probably have a leisurely ride through the lanes into Selby on Saturday morning before returning along the trail to the rally site. All depends on the weather. It's been dire in recent years.
York Rally is the place we stock up on cycling consumables - tyres etc
