Long sleeved lightweight cycling jerseys anyone?

Does anybody know if any of the clothing companies produce long sleeve jerseys that are lightweight enough for summer use?
The only ones I'm able to find are designed for slightly cooler spring weather conditions and I'm keen to find one I can use in the sunnier weather. It may seem a strange thing to be looking for now the nicer weather appears to be here but after having to have a biopsy carried out on a dodgy looking mole a while ago I'm rather more aware of the risks of being a fair skinned cyclist and I've never been too fond of slathering sun block up my arms. I don't mind sticking in all over my legs but then I guess I'm just strange...

An Austrailian I know told me that he wears long sleeved tops when cycling due to the skin cancer issue. The material was designed for use in hot climes and kept the UV out. I have no details unfortunately.
You could try a base layer top - Endura, Gore & Nike do very thin technical ones.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0 -
constantly reavalueating the situation and altering the perceived parameters accordingly0

Pair of lightweight arm warmers maybe - or do you want something looser.

Use a SS road jersey with "Arm skins" or try a mtb or down hill long sleeved lightweight jersey. Might have to go down one size if you want it to be slimmer fitting than the usual slightly baggy mtb style. Down hill jerseys are made to be worn over body armour so they are larger than road jerseys, but will feel airy and light weight. Or, you could try a lightweight long sleeved base layer, worn on it's own.0

I'm sure I saw a review in C+ this month on a pair of arm coolers...... long sleeves that improve air circulation around the arms.0

I solved this problem by getting a pair of Assos UV arm protectors which have a SPF of 50. I got them from Winstanleys. They only seem to come in white. I got the large size as the small/medium seemed tiny. No doubt you can get a cheaper set of arm warmers elsewhere. Then you can wear any s/s shirt you fancy or take a look at the Specialized Jet jersey with SPF 50 built in.0

The Assos UV arm protectors sound interesting, they may even be a piece of Assos kit that is actually affordable.
Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated._______________________________
