those are pretty rubbish dude.
nice view and all, but you need to learn how to take a picture.0 -
J_C - speak your mind, why don't you!Ned Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”
Homer Simpson: “I wish. We were bicycling to a lake.”
Specialized Rockhopper Pro Disc 080 -
Ok then.........................
What advice can you offer????????????It's been a while...0 -
dont have a fat guy standing at the side.
if youre going to take action shots, show some action
dont take all the shots from the same angle0 -
We have ourselves our very own David Bailey on the boards here!!
I'll take your not so - constructive criticism on board with a pinch of salt.......
just like most of your other posts then!
:roll:It's been a while...0 -
so because i didnt say 'wow dude, theyre great!' youre just going to ignore my criticism even though it was perfectly valid and constructive.
well done. really.
what do I know, Ive only been working as a journalist for 15 years or so.0 -
Graydawg - did you enjoy the ride?
I believe that's the most important thing....
Looks like it was a great day, to me!Ned Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”
Homer Simpson: “I wish. We were bicycling to a lake.”

Graydawg, At least you put the effort in to take some pictures. If others dont like them they dont have to look at them. At least your giving other people the chance to see some pics of rides that they may be interested in. Keep them coming I say.0

it is good that he took the pictures. its just that the pictures arent very good.
then he started crying like a little girl.
and he has fat friends.0 -

I think someone has hacked your account and been writing incoherent ramblings and trying to offend people with ignorance, either that or you've had a bad day and need to vent0 -
He's not that fat."Didn't hurt"0

we havent met, have we?0

I'm not crying, I appreciate criticism, however yours quite often leaves a lot to be desired.
There is ways and means to providing criticism however your distinct lack of tact and insistence in trying to start a flame war on 95% of the posts you reply to, is rather grating to say the least!
You've only been a journalist for 15 years or so? Is that for the Daily Star or The Sun? Because you don't even start your sentances with capitals.... and to cap it off, your grammar is pretty lousy too. So get your own house in order first!
Anyway - back to the topic - yes the run was fantastic! Had cracking weather for it. Hit some nice drops and jumps up the top and met up with a couple of boys from further south. One of them lugged a FS Mongoose all the way up the climb, some 1300ft above sea level!! Sure it would've been worth it for the way back down, but I would've preferred my bike for the ascent! We were all tempted to go round again, but ran out of time and on the final section my mate had a puncture so that was reason enough to call it a day! It's been a while...0 -
Surprisingly, I dont feel the need to check my spelling and grammar when writing about your crappy pictures and fat friends on a mountain bike forum. Was this, for instance, a paid job then I would certainly take a little more care with my punctuation etc. But, as it isn't, I wont.0

Don't worry about Jesus_Christ. He's more than likely stuck in his little grey-walled office, working all the time (well, I say 'working'...), eating his pies and cakes getting fat (it's pretty obvious he's insecure about his own weight, as the blokes in the photo's aren't what I'd call fat).
So while you're out on the trails, enjoying your ride, J_C has to critisize anything about anyone to make his little ego feel big, powerful and manly again, right??
PS, for the record J_C, I love my job. I work alot, granted, but I get ALOT of time off to play on my bikes (just had a fully paid week off cycling - NOT annual holiday either!). I'm physically fit, and actually, not to bad at photography. No reason, whatsoever for me to be jealous of you, before you jump to that conclusion.
I am, however, slightly jealous of Graydawg, who's ride incoporated 1300ft of sweet descent...

my life is pretty sweet actually. oh, and im not fat either.
unlike that tubby b1tch in the pics.0 -
Nice pics, that route from the top looks awesome. As for the 'fat' person, hes hardly what id call fat, at least hes out on the bike getting fit and havin a laugh.0

OH NO Dan wrote:Nice pics, that route from the top looks awesome. As for the 'fat' person, hes hardly what id call fat, at least hes out on the bike getting fit and havin a laugh.
Exactly!! Actually there is nothing to him to be honest - it's just a bad angle! Lol....
Want to get a helmet cam and record the route all the way down - but might just have to duck tape the camera phone to my helmet and make do! :roll:It's been a while...0 -
Jesus_Christ i find you incredibly offensive towards an innocent guy who has made an effort to show people where he enjoyed a good days biking. Show the guy some respect, since your a biker too apparently. We should all share where we go then we get to enjoy out planet a little more and he's tried this even if there is a person who may well be trying to get fitter in the shot! Well done Graydawg keep up the good work dood!0

j.c could be the harshest man on the planet, however, thumbs up dude i like people who speak their mind, and the guys not 'fat' as such but has got some mega lady pecsDont you just love Marin's...i sleep with mine0

shaun23, I'll give you a tip, save your breath, as J_C will only give you a childish, insulting reply mate...Boo-yah mofo

JC thinks he's cool as he "thinks" he is winning this. and i doubt that he's even ridden it before and how do we know he's not fat. he may just be jealous of the man in the shots0
