  • Well as a counterpoint to you lucky lot, I live on the Northants/Milton Keynes border.

Closest things to me are Woburn trails and Harlestone Firs. Not much decent natural riding locally, everything is a bit flat round here.
Less internal organs, same supertwisted great taste.
  • I live in Cheddar, Somerset so do a lot of riding in the mendips.

Favourite route would be ride up to cheddar kona bikefest route 2 laps
on up to shipham and out to rowberrow warren quick blast down the dh track over to the top of cheddar gorge and ride down the right hand size
gentle ride home. takes about 2.5 - 3 hours

Also an hour away from twrch trail so often ride there.
  • I feel quite lucky really
    gisburn forest 20 min

    Calderdale 40 min
    Yorkshire Dales 1hr
    Peak district 1hr

Meh, forgot about the M606. Mind you I probably missed the signs whilst being stuck being an 18-wheeled road-block...
