HI people
Am looking for some practical hard wearing grippy grips that still grip well when wet.
Any clues?
Lizard skins?

These ESI silicon grips are allegedly the dogs in terms of comfort and grip but unfortunately they look sh*te (IMO).
FWIW I used some Funn Combat grips over winter and although they were very grippy they wore out pretty quickly. Some ODI Ruffian MXs with the waffle on the underside would probably be the best all-rounders.0 -
I always find that wearing gloves keeps more than enough friction in the interaction between palm and glove for me.0

unfortunately not all the time, i wear full finger ones in the cold and wet, they sometimes slip on standard grips, also the finger less ones on longer rides (5+hours) let the sweat onto the standard grips...bit of a problem, dont wanna carry around a tub of climbers chalk with me.0 -
How about going with foam grips like these? Dirt cheap to try, but apparently good fun to get on the bars!0

I find the Lizard Skins charges grippy in most conditions, they have a soft ribbed surface so they can be a bit strange on the hand but the way the grips compress seems to help grip. I like them but I know other folks don't so I'm always a bit wary about recommending 'emUncompromising extremist0

I put the WCS neoprene ones on my bike & have been pleasantly surprised with them. My main reason to use them was the weight  but they are really comfy, plus I tend to wear grips away quickly where my palm fits but these have lasted 4 months so far & still look like new.
Even considering using them on my bmx.0
