Do they take on some magical power (not taking the wee-wee) when mixed into a shake?
I'm being dead serious by the way, not trying to stoke an argument or anything.

As was clear, the Milk provides the protein. There is actually some suggestion from studies that mixing up food before eating changes how it's digested, improving take up. But no, there is no reason other than convenience of it being a shake rather than just eating the stuff.

You need carbs to boost your energy and protein to rebuild muscle. A recovery drink will have both.
Torq Strawberry & Cream, or Torq Banana & Mango.

As per my OP - these are the most disgusting things I have ever tried (in a recovery drink sense).

Im in the For Goodness Shakes corner! Chocolate is by far the best flavour. I used to use Rego strawberry but that is now gathering dust in the cupboard.

Sainsburys are currently doing 2 bottles for £2.00.

    Get em bought.

    :D

I vote for Forgoodness shakes...used them at the end of each day on a 3 day tour and they served me well..they do taste good too.

Try Myoplex, that's good, and easy to take to a race/sportive with you.
