Deciding on going clip less and found these

Look for some Shimano AM30's they can be had for under £40
(or Lidl had some spd compatible shoes not so long ago for £15 ish - might be some still available)0 -

shimano mp66 are spd compatible you just have to cut the cover off the bottom.

I have purchased my 1st proper bike and borrowed some Crank Bros Acid pedals, they are really easy to clip in/out but found that doing wheelies whilst clipped in can make your hand hurt like you have broken it (fallen off 3 times in 2 rides due to clippage), I don't want to sound like a mum but please be careful!!0
