My brother in law works at Welford Road and the guy was on his shift. He's really gutted.
I didn't know the guy personally but my brother in law said he was a top bloke. Obviously I don't know all the details but if is shown the driver was at fault lets hope he gets more than 163 days!

Another sad story. I've lost two officers on my shift this year, one of whom was targetted in a hit and run. It's been really hard. Thoughts go out to family, friends and colleagues.0
