upgrading

I have been considering replacing my rock shox tora's with 130mm travel with a pair of rock shox pikes with 140mm travel. I was just wondering whether changing my forks for these is possible or weather the geometry or something else to do with my bike would get messed up because of it.
Incase it helps my frame is a hardtail 15 inch marin b17.

well you do realize you will need a new front wheel/hub if you do this.

look at some Revs or Recons with Qr fittings.

and extra 10mm will not make too much of a difference. But consider this the other forks will not be quite as stiff as you are losing the steel legs.
