I'm always 'seriously' considering an Ultrasonic parts cleaner, but I have a de-greasing bath at work, so never have been pushed over the threshold.
Stay clear of the ultrasonic thing, especially if you use decon 90 as the cleaning agent , it will fluck up the alloy bits. The one I used has a 'chip pan ' type mesh basket to put the bits in and it rubbed a matching mesh pattern into the deraliur parts that touched it. Also do not put your fingers in whilst its on..it will mess up your knuckles. Obviously you will do it anyway just to find out but at least I told you!
Th edegreaser bath on the other hand is fab, It may soften and dull the painted bits though..rinse thouroughly!0
