:-)
Its Oak Flooring, Skirting boards arent attached to the walls as im getting some higher ones.
I can heartily recommend the Comfort Iron water too, makes clothes smell lovely whilst ironing..... So she tells me..... :-)0 -
Schweeeeeeeet!
Enjoy it and don't forget to take a multitool along on your first ride so you can keep an eye on and check the nuts (and bolts) on the suspension linkages0 -
My final choice was between a Prophet and a Rize...hope you have as much fun on your bike as I do on mine.0

Nice socket!Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

I think you need to water your plant.0
-
That was actually some mold on the floor that sorta grew so i put a pot around it so it looks like it should be there. :-)0
-
hmm yummy!
Now go get it muddy!0 -
Very nice - I love the white/lime green canondale paint schemes - enjoy it!0

No kitchen in sight which is disappointing. I notice a rather substantial gap between the skirting and the wall. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

See post further up!
Im fitting bigger ones so havent attached them, not doing bad really theve only been like that for 18 months :-)
It was taken in my frontroom, one of the many benifits of living on your own, just like being able to clean the bike where you want :-)
You know what i can hear the women reading this post drawing air through there teeth....0 -
no, i totally appreciate wanting to clean your bike off in the bath
we have a guest shower room with a humungous shower. i am very, very tempted.......
like your lounge floor btw - looks like ours!
oh and the bike tooNed Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”
Homer Simpson: “I wish. We were bicycling to a lake.”

i like the flooring, but that socket isnt child proof and the dead sticks in a vase thing is sooo 5 minutes ago.0

Although I think someone had your pants down when they sold you "Iron water"!
By the way I have a nice line in "Washing your bike water" and "Brushing your teeth water"-
interested?
:P0 -
Nice ride 8)
I love that 'new bike' feeling
Comfort Iron Water eh? That would just be deionized water then, like you buy from the garage for your car.
If you had a Tefal Protect Turbo GV9150 Steam Generator Iron, you wouldn't need deionized water, you can just use the tap...Not that I know anything about ironing of course... :?
Liking the bike in the bath pics. I would be banished from our house if I ever tried such a stunt. Ah, the good old days of living alone..."Money can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery." Spike Milligan.0 -
Best bit is my bikes are stored upstairs in my room with me.
The Iron Water smells rather delightful, its on offer at asda too at the mo.
Never thought about using actual tap water before, how very clever eh. .. ..
Just a quick point..
Is it normal to have a new bike then change things on it straight away?
For instance, im fitting a green Hope Pro2 rear hub, with green hope QR skewer, and ive just ordered some white Bontrager Big Earl pedals too as the factory ones were lets say....... shite. When i get paid I shall be Thompson'ing the stem and seat post too. . .
Changed the slip on grips with white DMR lock on's and possibly going to change the saddle with a charge spoon, though the Fi:z:it:bang:it saddle fitted is well comfy.0 -
Mr Wu - sounds like you have the same "upgrade" bug as me!0
-
Weird aint it, I did the same with my Orange, changed loads on it within a month of having it.
Just need to get everything fitted and sorted now so i can get out on it. Bit pished off tbh cause the brakes have blatently not been bled, if i pull the rear brake it touches the bar, not amused.0 -
Nice, I bought a 'Rush' 18 months ago, not a seconds regret - still love it.Be happy, communicate happiness.0

*stands up and applause's*
Just love the Pike fork! Nothing better."If I Was Falling, YOU BETTER FREAKING CATCH ME!!!"

What size is the Prophet - looks like an xl. Very sweet and getting a new bike in the box is one of life's true treasures. It is a superb bike and enjoy the ride fella.0 -
Haha, Wu, i wanna change loads on mine too (don't know if you replied to my post in your last thread).
Pedals, came straight off when i got it home from LBS, paydays in 2 weeks so upgrades... i'm thinking of braided cable so i can stick my mono m4 on the back... and tbh, i never thought about building a wheel with green hubs haha, though i haven't got to the stage of thinking what wheels to replace those awful subs0 -
lovely bike that is 8)Cube Attempt 20110

Hey I just got mine on Tuesday and put it through it's paces on the Wildcat Black on Wednesday.
It handled it very well.0
