Afan trip
Hi guys,
Apologies if this has been done to death, but I'm organising a couple of days riding for some guys at work at Afan, and having never been there before need some advice. So, questions:
1. Going to book here: Anyone stayed there? http://www.brynteghouse.com/index.html
2. We'll be arriving on a Mon morning, so have Mon afternoon and all Tuesday to ride. What would be the recommended trails to do for a first visit? (I'm thinking 1 on Monday and 2 on Tuesday maybe?)
3. Are the trails free / do you have to book or get a pass?
Many thanks in advance.
Matt

Trails are all free (although parking costs a couple of quid, pay & display). Even when busy the trails are long enough to lose a lot of people in.
As for routes, I'd do Penhydd on the Monday and then White's and The Wall on the Tuesday or indeed W2 which is The Wall and White's linked into a super route. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
I would happily recommend Afan lodge. Stayed there a few weeks back and its ideally located and good value.A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0
