Kinesis maxlight rigid fork - any opinions?

I am in the process of converting my hardtail MTB into a hybrid winter commuter/shopping trolley.
I want to replace the crappy SR Suntour front suspension fork for a rigid one.
The Kinesis maxlight has v-brake bosses, and weighs a meagre 1kg.
It is available from Wiggle for 70 quid.
Any one could share any comments on it?
I will be using 1.5 inch wide slick tyres. Any clearance problems?
Thanks.

I have got these myself, on a Maxlight XC2 frame. Very lihgt and very solid feel to them.
Quite wether they are worth £70 though is another question. Got mine off ebay with the frame & headset for £160, so it may be worth having a look there.Interviewer: ‘So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?’
Frank Zappa: ‘You have a wooden leg. Does that make you a table?”0 -
Thanks for the advice.
Can you please confirm what the A-C measure of the fork is?
I currently have an A-C of 450mm and when switching to a rigid fork, I am looking to reduce this to 410mm max.0
