    Let me make it absolutely clear that there was no deliberate intention to better my own position by omitting these points. I have not broken any rules, but to avoid bringing any further embarrassment to my position as scorer, I have decided to willingly reinstated the points that you fairly won for that stage.

    I will, of course, be standing down as scorer for the PTP at the end of the current race to spend more time with my family.
