Is the Bell Volt really a cheaper alternative than the old atmos? It's not really something I'd want to leave in a hedge.
That aside, I've got an Ionos and Volt (and an atmos, met 199  ), pretty similar really and I like both of them. Both seem to fit my head well but of course it's an individual thing.0 -

The Spiuk Daggon didn't fare that well in the recent C+ test. Looks nice though have to say. I have a Spiuk Nexion and it's good for the money (£65), and they both have an insect net. Wish the Daggon was a bit cheaper though. Having said that it does come in two different sizes, the Nexion is one size fits all.
I am also looking for a new helmet myself at the moment, might come down to an Atmos, Ionos or Volt myself. The Bell Sweep R still looks good too.0 -
I got a Ionos yesterday. Night and day to my old Decibel. Much better front section, can't tell it's there in your vision field.
And just mega mega comfy. THat's before I mention just how much air gets through it!My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Before I picked up my Atmos (very happy with it), I was using a Bell Delirium. There's a near identical road bike version with no visor mounting holes, "Alchera" I think. It was very well ventilated and comfortable for a sub $50US helmet.0

I bought a Bell Volt to replace my Gireo Atmos. The Bell fits me much better and is more comfortable to wear for log rides but I don't think it vents as well as the Giro. Nearly bought an Ionos but it looked huge in comparison to either the Atmos or Volt.0
