i need a new bike (i currently have a apollo xc.24) that is strong when i go jumping but also i need a lot of gears for when i go on a cycle ride. i need it to be quite cheap as i am short on money

Actually it's difficult to find a bike with 24" wheels and gears.

Something like this would get my vote.

Look for sale bikes on websites, If you want something a bit better, try looking in the classifieds and other websites for second hand bikes.

Hmmm, not many choices but here are two that are ok for their price.
Mongoose Fireball 2009 , not many gears only 36T front, but you have chaintensioner.
GT Tempest 3.0 2009, no chaintensioner but double crankset.
Otherwise same spec.
