Me this morning on Chelsea Embankment at about 8:45.
Riding from the lights at chelsea bridge, overtaking a few people, go over a manhole / pothole, Weeee over the handlebars. I'm now a little sore, the worst injuries are to my ego and my wallet, new helmet and saddle needed. Bang goes my weekend.
Thank you to those who stopped, especially the women who stayed and offered me the water, sorry if i was a bit short i was still in shock i think.

Cheers, its the first time i've come off in 6 months When i was flying off i think thats the first thing i thought.
Talk about the worst day to come off, trying to be smug and a professional commuter only to get K.O'd by a bloody pothole.0 -
Don't forget to report the pothole to TfL. They should get it filled in if you do0

Chelsea Embankment is getting pretty bad the these days, definately needs maintenance.
I took a few iphone pics so will send them off to chelsea and westminster i think.0 -
Is that the big wide pot hole obscured under the bridge by any chance? I've seen a few people come unstuck there.0

Nah, i know to avoid that one. This after the lights at Albert bridge (the bit with the side road you can take a shortcut down if theres heavy traffic). I took as second look today and the dip must be a about over two inches and probably enough to unsettle a moterbike rider aswell. This road is in definate need of some TLC in places, i noticed quite a few more dangerous ones this morning, i must have "the fear".

TFL fault repair page
Helps to report everything you see before it gets bad and causes someone to get hurt. I noticed that problems I'd reported got sorted roughly within about 2 weeks.[/url]David
