  • Yay for you! :D

I am happy about the fact that I have a new camera to take photos with when we go round a little bit of Europe in August.

I am happy that it's light when I get home at 7.45 in the evening.

I am happy that I have a very tasty mug of coffee steaming away next to me.

I am happiest of all that I have a good life, good health and a fantastic bike

  • Well Rob, I'm happy that you're happy that we're both happy.

If we weren't happy, would you still be happy?

I feel I am now in group, but I am happy that my bus fare was a whopping pound cheaper :)

I am also happy that my day is fully underway, and I will be in the tattoo shop sooner then I think...

Well Rob, I'm happy that you're happy that we're both happy.

If we weren't happy, would you still be happy?

If you hadn't said you were happy I would automatically assume you were happy so would probably be happy anyway, of however you said you were unhappy, that would make me sad.

I've always loved the idea of having a sleeve (just gotta get over my nervousness of needles  ), but I think only guys with muscular arms look good with em, the rest just look plain daft!

  • ah, tattoos.

there are loads of tattoo places in Brighton - and people always seem to get them after a sunny morning/afternoon accompanied by pints of lager :D

i do like the idea, but as i can't make my mind up what i want, and it is permanent, then perhaps i'll just stick to the transfers, or henna :D

we need a picture of your back tattoo...

can you tell us why the sleeve of Koi is in memory of your mother (if that's not too personal a question)?

Koi are lovely tattoo'd. I would love a koi on my leg, however, I dont think it would go with my current ones... I am having a hard time choosing between pixies, and lillies, trippy funky colours lillies that is. Though I would like cakes and coffee somewhere too.

Oooh I would also like a key hole on my shoulder blade and on my chest, with something like a garden tattooed or an angel... Hard to explain. I also wanted my x-ray of my broken collar bone tattoo'd over my actual collar bone (was a nasty break) but though again about that one!!!!

I think women look great nicely inked. I really hate all that boxing bulldog cr@p. I have a couple of fairly discreet ones on my upper arms, so I can decide if I want them on display or not, would love to have more done when I have the spare cash.

Koi because she kept them for as long as I can remember. She loved them. Also, there's a kind of urban legend that Koi are a Japanese symbol of "strength in adversity". The first half of her life was fraught with strife and whether the legend is true or not, it really sums her up.

  • Yes, that makes sense. She sounds wonderful.

I think koi are beautiful - I used to have an quarium full of fish back in the day. But they used to fight each other quite a bit...

it's scary seeing shiny, sparkly little fish eat their own children

I've got Kain's clan logo (from the Legacy of Kain series of games) tattooed on my lower back, which certain people brand as being my 'tramp stamp' -_- Personally I'm quite chuffed that my OMGWTFBQQROFLing nerdery is permantly branded onto my good self.

    Symbols-SR1-Clan-Kain.JPG

Bizarrely, some people confuse it with the Bacardi bat. :/

Got to get it re-inked, it's looking a bit sailorish at the moment.

Ah, it's supposed to be BBQ, as in 'barbecue'. Not entirely sure why people insert that into their l33t speak, I try not to question teh interwebs.

'QQ' means 'crying' though. Hence the phrase, "QQ more, n00b"

I love my tatoos but have to keep them hidden at work. I have a rainbow of stars around my wrist and stars on one shoulder too. My favourite one is on my other shoulder which is of Devi who is a character in a comic I like called Johnny the Homicadal Manic. My mum said I would reget them but 12 years on still not a twinge! :D
