What Pump, when on the go?

What pump do you carry when out on a ride?

...and is it good for getting up to 60 - 70 psi without strain?

Wondering if worth getting a "road" pump which makes lighter work of high pressure, or a "mountain" pump cos they are supposed to be better for mtb tyre volume...??

I dont ride on lower pressures, as I tend to be on firmer tracks and interludes of tarmac, so am riding above 50psi up to 60 or 70psi, on tarmac runs.

Truflo Evolution Plus, for the same reason- it's small enough to fit in a bag, bit enough to actually be good at inflating tyres, has a gauge, and nicely made. The hose and stirrup are great, you can use it like a normal pump or as a tiny footpump. Ace

Can your tyres take 70psi?! Mine max out at something like 55!

I use a top peak blaster (or somethign like that)- short throw mini pump that fits in my camelback and has an intelligent head for presta and schrad valves. It works.

I've got one of these, which I absolutely love. Beautiful piece of machined alloy, inflates fast and I like the flexible hose to protect my Presta valves.

Yup, they go to 80psi, but 60 - 70psi is great on hard surfaces.

mountian Morph does the biz for me. Should get to 60/70 lbs although I've not tried. Road morph will for sure get that high and more, but lower volume pump so not as quick to inflate larger tyres

will be trying out a lezyne when pump replacement time comes around though

    +2 on the Lezyne.

Its maybe a bit high yes, but 60, 65 psi, (tyre says max 80) is great on road.
