Cats you say? We need more Eagle Owls then. I wonder where I can obtain some...
haha
Back to the owl, looked fairly light in colour, almost white. Perhaps about 3 ft span?0 -
A barn owl then?0

My most exciting wildlife spot to date is a stoat
Pheasants are a regular feature round here, as well as red kites, squirrels, horses, cows and a suicidal blackbird that decided to fly right under Mr P's backwheel - thankfully not through the spokes...
We were coming back from the market last weekend, and there were 3 ducks hanging around the local shopping centre too (I think I glimpsed some Burberry and one of them definitely had a blingy gold chain on)FCN 100 -
PS the title of this thread reminds me of me & Mr P's favourite game: Dog Count
This involves each player on a given journey (whether by bike, car or walking) setting a target number of dogs they expect to see during the journey. Player who picks the number closest to the number of dogs seen wins!
Cue much arguing about which dogs "count" - are small dogs technically only half a dog?? Are Pyrenean Mountain Dogs and other weird looking unusual dogs worth bonus points? Does the dog attract more points if it's doing something funny when you see it? Dogs wearing jackets or similar attire are also good for bonus pointsFCN 100 -

You two should get out more perhaps take up a hobby  :roll:Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.

Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -
Ah but you miss the beauty of Dog Count - it combines perfectly with cycling
And if you get bored of dogs, or live in a dogless wasteland, other animals are easily substituted - pigeons, rats, earwigs...FCN 100 -

I love spotting wild animals - the best I've seen have been a wolf, a ratlesnake, a condor, a family of sloe worms, a peregrine falcon. Guess how many of them were in the UK...0 -
